1936: Raymond Peat was born in Santee, California. His parents were Sidney Howe Peat and Lou Ella Osborne. He moved to Oregon after the Second World War.
1950-1954: Attended Grants Pass High School. He was nicknamed “half-pint” and played in the orchestra.
1955-1956: Attended Southern Oregon University as a freshman and a sophomore.
1957-1958: Attended the University of Oregon as a junior and a senior, studying humanities.
1959-1960: Did residency coursework as part of an interdepartmental program for a doctorate in the philosophy of language at Ohio State University.
1960: Published his master’s thesis titled “William Blake and the Mysticism of Sense and Non-Sense”.
1961: Taught biology courses (Introduction to Physics For Biology Majors) at Urbana College.
1962: Founded Blake College (a small, independent liberal arts school) in Valle De Bravo, Mexico. At the same time, he taught English at Mexico State University.
1965: Blake College was shut down, and Ray traveled to Montana to teach linguistics at Montana State University.
1966: Reopened Blake College in Eugene, Oregon.
1967-1968: Taught as an art professor at Junction City High School.
1968: Traveled to Moscow to meet with Soviet scientists.
1972: Published his Ph.D. thesis titled “Age-Related Oxidative Changes in the Hamster Uterus” at the University of Oregon.
1974: Became the director of “Medical Diet Service, Inc.” in Eugene, a weight loss clinic.
1976: Published “Mind and Tissue: Russian Research Perspectives on the Human Brain”.
1978: Attended and gave a lecture about the benefits of progesterone at the Orthomolecular Medical Society Conference in San Francisco.
1978-1980: Taught endocrinology at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine.
1981: Published “Nutrition for Women”.
1984: Patented “Treatment of progesterone deficiency and related conditions with a stable composition of progesterone and tocopherols”. Created Progest-E.
1986: Patented “Pharmaceutical compositions containing dihydroepiandrosterone and other anesthetic steroids in the treatment of arthritis and other joint disabilities”.
1988-1989: Toured the coast of California (in cities like Santa Barbara and Santa Maria) and gave lectures about health and nutrition.
1993: Published “Progesterone in Orthomolecular Medicine”.
1994: Published “Generative Energy: Restoring the Wholeness of Life”.
1997: Published “From PMS to Menopause: Female Hormones in Context”.
2022: He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thanksgiving day. Rest in peace, Ray.

If I may say though, during his last 25 years the impact he had not only through private consult but also his abundantly generous spirit in giving to others through the radio and podcast interviews would be helpful to include in understanding Ray's legacy.
