As someone who started off in life with thyroid and adrenal problems I can say there's definitely a personality shift once you correct these things. Learned in real time that the diseases one has are a reflection of one's inner make up. Likewise altering someone physically will affect them mental. Which shouldn't even be a big leap when you consider... ummm.... DRUGS 😂. Including alcohol and coffee and caffeine.

Personally the biggest take away I got from my experience with the transition is that with hyper/hypo adrenals and low thyroid, there is always this subtle sense of tension fear or doom in the background. Inability to truly feel at ease or at rest. Disconnection from the body and emotions to a point where you really just CAN'T get input from them. We talk about trauma, but when you start off with this in life it's not repression of anything, CAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW or CAN'T FEEL IT. It's the baseline. And oddly you feel fine. Other things were either no appetite or extreme appetite and (I like how you subtly touched on this) there's a weird perception of time you have. There's never enough of it, always must rush, you're rapidly losing it or there's just none at all. The biggest thing is just this sense of high will power or utter defeat. Like, why even try.

Fixing that or moving towards it there's this sense of ease and comfort that enters life when your thyroid starts to work. As well as genuine optimism. That feeling of time changes to one where you actual feel you have time to do whatever really. And my goodness... Your emotions WAKE DA FUK UP LOL. Like finding a room in the house you didn't know was there. They tend to start off very raw at first and the FEAR is crushing. Like anxiety ain't even the right mindset genuine bone crushing Terror. Lasted for like a month or two but after that it shifts to like a life review of all the old junk. Easier to think as well and a strong increase in will power. In not a brute force way but more like I want to do this thing because it matters to me and I'm okay with the consequences of that and I can and should keep pushing forward in this direction. And if I'm scared I WILL be okay. It's honestly like a rebirth or something (kinda why I like my pic and name, didn't even know about Ishtar until right after fixing my thyroid and some other things; a wink from the cosmos I guess) feel like a completely different life

Last thing for this long comment, adrenals are definitely necessary but they're overactive and pituitary is in charge mainly, from my experience, as a lack of nourishment. Especially minerals. We living in the hunger games really. Just look at history, food and malnutrition is a mainstay everywhere and everywhen

How did you fix your health? I’m facing this now and what I try doesn’t seem to work, both allopathic and naturopathic.

(hmmmm, i feel like may be better to dm for this, so feel free to do so, BUT here's what I got as a quick rundown)

So my approach:

Biggest thing is/was what you eat MATTERS

So for me whole food plant based diet as the base thing. So plan on shifting to that.

Supplements! (Mainly cause the soils and farming so bunked up) what I take. I take different amounts than these but as a recommendation...

Zinc--50-60mg

Copper-- ratio of (1:8 zinc or up to 1:3)- so for 50mg zinc 6mg copper up to 15mg

Iron--- 65-130mg

Manganese --- 20-50mg

VITAMIN B12 ---- (1000mcg - 10,000mcg)

Molybdenum --- 500-2000mcg

Selenium 200-2000mcg

Iodine (as Lugol's or potassium iodide) (50-150 MG, YES milligrams)

Boron! --- a pinch or three from borax right on the tongue is good

Optional but highly recommended ---- diatomaceous earth

Calcium --- 1,200mg

Magnesium --- 600mg

Potassium --- 4000-10,000mg (a fat teaspoon of no salt brand potassium chloride is about 4000mg, i buy the actual container of potassium chloride, cheaper and lasts longer)

Some helpers! Again DM me, probably REALLY good idea to do so lol 😂, but good to look into these and research for yourself

Vitamin C

High dose niacin (nicotinic acid 1500-3000mg)

COFFEE ENEMAS (GOOD GOD I CAN'T RECOMMENDED ENOUGH, MIND YOUR ELECTROLYTES IF YOU DO THEM REGULARLY)

B vitamins (b100 complex, can go to high doses)

Now if you've had health issues historically or drugs and mental health issues I'd add a separate protocol that REALLY REALLY helps in the beginning.

But I think that's saved for a DM lol

A quick tip though, HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended tip is first thing in the morning 1 tbsp of EAA's

Essential

Amino

Acids

NOT A PROTEIN POWDER

NOT BCAAS

**EAA'S**

Hope that's helpful

And of course SUNLIGHT, exercise, good sleep and those such things

Love it! Again, great work and so interesting.

Cushing's children are frightfully common--walking around with their oblivious parents. The thyroid driven vs pituitary commanders are truly like two different species.

I too am growing irritated with this generation of mystical aura drivel. I question whether it is an effort to get the public to just accept authoritarianism. Because there is no objective truth. Just good ole "my truth." And "connecting to source". It's a covert Karen really, who is triggered by having not learned how to research and make connections. Or perhaps it is generational increased serotonin level throwing their hands up and faking that they are just above all that.

This is the most beautiful post about physiology connected with metaphysics and religious thought that I have read. I love it. I truly appreciate this and will now explore the rest of your work.

You wrote like 50 things I want to high five you about in this one. Adrenals and time, stealing time… altering time? The last week I been thinking alot about the loss of libs or appendages and it altering a persons consciousness. Because I can’t stop thinking about if energy and structure are interdependent at all levels. Altering structures changes consciousness. The subtle changes one feels in their skin or hair or muscles when being Peat minded for a couple years is an improvement on our structure and energy. I think every millimeter of our structure is what tunes into our world and thus consciousness. Right? Not the brain but the resonance of the whole body whole mind whole light coming off of us, is the Receiver. Then I think of the growing nourished child as a high capacity receiver. A learner! And the elderly, calcified, swollen, atrophied glands, fractured limbs. Non learners!!

Because the structure just ain’t right. Are we facing a world in which the youth or the whole general population are non learners? Non receivers. Adrenalized. Anyways. Love the article. It makes me think of hearing some say that when they got vaxxed recently they couldn’t communicate or feel god.

No Bueno.

Thanks a million for your articles.

Peace

The levels of aldosterone and parathyroid hormone are increased by stress, with serotonin acting on the adrenal cortex and the parathyroid

gland to increase their secretion. All three of those hormones act on the mitochondria to lower oxidative energy production. Increasing the amount of

sodium and calcium (and vitamin D, which also helps to lower parathyroid hormone and aldosterone) in the diet can lower the secretion of aldosterone and parathyroid hormone, with a resulting increasing in oxidative energy production.

Yay! 🥛

The adrenal glands are vital organs and no, you cannot live without them. Yes excess cortisol is a problem, but you can’t live without it. The adrenal glands produce around a hundred different hormones. In addition to cortisol hormones are produced that metabolize glucose into energy without which you would die. Addison’s disease is when your adrenal glands quit working. It is fatal if undiagnosed but can be managed with steroids.
