I don’t know much about things and therefore don’t comment on anything, but I’m quite disturbed by the xenoestrogenic impacts of the microplastics. A fundamental reason we have these is that bsck in the day we decided to use oil to power our industrial ecology. A significant enabler of oil and a significant maintainer of our stagnation is climate skepticism. The people who have come up with climate skepticism - millennials mostly - have come up with other stuff that doesn’t actually work, eg. bitcoin. I’m sorry, but that’s how it seems to be.

I don’t have solutions. I just have intractable problems. An industrial ecology which makes us estrogenic is an intractable problem. It will not be solved.

Well… who knows. But if you let things wobble, one day you find no food on the table. And then you wobble. So the non-wobble is more of a practical thing than an idealistic take.
